Don Cherry is not a fan of the Internet

In case you missed Don Cherry blow a gasket after a recent episode of the i-Desk on Hockey Night in Canada, here is it is.  You will see Don is not big on communicating with fans via the web, which the i-Desk has been doing since CBC introduced the show.

Don obviously doesn't think Hockey Night in Canada should be reduced to reading emails (i think he meant comments) from fans on the CBC live blog.  Ron MacLean also agrees.  What do you think?  Please vote and share your comments.

Is Hockey Canada's Game?

Don Cherry seems to think hockey is Canada's game.  During his January 9th episode of Coach's Corner, Don exhibited his pride for Canada and the game of hockey by explaining to his audience why hockey is Canada's game.

In the episode Don breaks down  how Team USA's recent win at the IIHF Under 20 Championships was assisted by Canada.

What did you think of that?  Now we all know Don wears his heart on his sleeve, but here are some more numbers for you to consider:
These numbers definitely help prove Don's point that hockey is Canada's game.  You could make the same argument for baseball, but dominated by the USA.

So is Don Cherry right?  Is hockey Canada's game?
